Region 10 can be found in the eastern centre of Guyana and is bordered by all the regions with the exception of Region 1, 2 and 9. It contains Guyana's second largest city, Linden, with other towns including Ituni, Kalkuni, Kwakwani, Kurupukari and Takama. There are also Amerindian settlements like Hururu, Rockstone and Sand Hills. The township Linden is a combination of three main communities – Mackenzie, Wismar and Christianburg. The Soesdyke-Linden highway links Linden to Georgetown.
