Destination

October 22, 2018

Before you settle to do anything it’s very important that you know where you’re heading.

What is that point on the horizon that you’ve picked for yourself and your team?

If this is still unclear in your mind, you find yourself doing all kind of short term activities every day and just being busy.

You’re actually most likely running a busyness versus a business. So very early on, and it starts with you, it starts with your own personal destination; where you are going as a human being.

If you don’t clarify that, you always run the risk that whatever you’re engaged with in a business or professionally doesn’t live up to your personal expectations and that causes a lot of frustration so be very sure where you’re heading as a human being.

In many cases, you can quantify that, you can actually work out how much will it cost you to live this ideal life.

Then you start looking at: “Great, can the business actually provide me that?” Because if the business can’t provide you that, you are on a sure path to frustration.

Can you provide that within the timeframe that you have put for yourself in mind? Because yes you can be in a business that makes you a lot of money but you working 16 hours a day, Is that what you really want personally?

Pick your destination, know what it’s going to cost you and then make sure that the business is structured in such a way that it can actually deliver you to that destination in the not too distant future.
