As Santa checks his list twice, the air is filled with the palpable anticipation of children eager to ensure their desires are heard.
From the tiniest tots who can only manage to scrawl their wishes in crayon to the older child who knows exactly what they want. We reached out to several children and asked them what gift they expected from Santa Claus this year. Their responses are as follows:
For two-year-old Zayn Asher Mohamed, it is “games and gifts.”
As for four-year-old Ariana Brehaspat, she wants to join mommy in the kitchen.

“For Christmas I want toys… like a kitchen one with a huge stove and sink. I want that because it will make me happy. I will join Mommy and cook.”
Esmae, Edmin and Emit
“For Christmas this year, I wish for a drone and a skateboard from Santa,” Emit Basdeo shared.
“For Christmas this year, I wish for a doll house and make-up accessories for my dolls in the doll house from Santa,” Esmae Basdeo said.
“For Christmas this year, I wish for an airplane that flies and an Optimus Prime toy from Santa,” said Edmin Basdeo.
Mateo Rodrigues
“Santa, I want a big big truck. One for me and my uncle,” Mateo Rodrigues expressed.
